Everybody read (important)

Fair few scammers around at moment. I kept getting emails from people Similar to
This when selling my VTI. One guy said he was a sailor wanting to purchase the vehicle for his son and could only pay by paypal as was offshore

On a similar note I sold a Ducati 996 roughly a year ago to a chap from the UK but living in Portugal. He paid without ever seeing the bike and sent a courier to collect it who after taking over a month to pick it up and then kept it a week before delivering it to the new owner.

Anyways the bike got there and the alarm had gone funny, then when he got that sorted the engine shat itself on the Portuguese freeway. Ducati Lisbon charged £2.5k for the rebuild (sold bike for £3k).

Moral of the story is that overseas vehicle sales are more trouble than they are worth - buy a car from me - come and view then pay cash - simples.

people would chance anything now a days to make a few pound or get something for free the c***s :angry2:

HAs any one ever heard of deviljdm he has purchased my engine and wants me to send it to tegiwa imports.... Bit confused

Yes, he deals with me, straight up guy with no messing around, bought a fair few parts when I broke my DC2. He buys lots of parts, has them shipped here and we put it on a pallet so he only pays 1 lot of shipping for the whole lot. I know there always seems to be a bit of worry when dealing with overseas users but DevilJDM is a genuine buyer.

Are you the one that was supposed to send an engine here that he paid for but sold it to someone else and won't refund him?

 hate hearing this sort of stuff

Thanks for your input Saint Matt.

Yeah, this is the guy who should send items to you :p

Anyway, i got refund in friday. It is a shame that it took 1month, and also it is a shame that this happened, but i am just happy i got my money back, so i will try to forget this as soon as posibble, although I was accused of being a scammer.

@Gazza : Before you do anything, it is common sense that you check your paypal balance if money arrived....if he just emailed you confirmation from paypal, that means nothing.
Once that happend to me to. I was trying to pay for some parts to a guy on this forum, and didn`t have balance on credit card. Paypal said i don`t have enough balance, but i got email that payment was successfully sent. I went to check on my paypal account and money wasn`t send.
Also, there is no chance, he would have access to your bank!!

Cheers
