After some research i have decided I'm goin to build a g23 engine for my euroR as I'm fed up of the h22 and it's stupid frm liners, and don't want to go to the expense of sleeving it, I already have all the bits lying around to build a decent g23 but the only problem I'm having is sourcing the f23 bottom end, there easily picked up in the us but shipping would be a killer, does anyone know what european vehicles are fitted with a f23 engine or are they easily found in mainland uk? According to Wikipedia it was fitted to the 1998-1999 eudm honda shuttle, for those who are wondering what I'm on about a g23 is a sohc f23 bottom end with a dohc h22 head,

Are you staying turbo?
No I'm goin back to n/a, and I will prob keep the turbo and use it on a bseries, hseries turbos seem to be crap, it would be grand for a few months and then would start getting smokey and excessive blow by, got so bad that I had to empty catch can daily, I remember seing you mention you were thinking of doing a g23 build did you have any luck finding a f23 block?

I done a bit of research in to it and decided against it.. If I was to go another route it would be a h23 bottom end with a h22a head.. But I dunno.. Have lost interest in throwing money at a car that I rarely use

@teg boy cheers for the link, engine purchased and hopefully be here for the weekend, :nice: @Karleg6 what turned you against the g23? I'm going to give it a go see how it turns out, it's not goin to cost a whole fortune, if it turns out **** it won't be the end of the world, don't tell me you have got tired of killing kswaps :p
