Bet the dont nip to tbe shops with full slicks and skinnys on the rear.

Still 8 secs over the 1/4 and 190 mph is nothing but extraordinary! In a scrabble wagon!

Amazing times, but with the amount of money thrown at them, you could be driving something alot better than a civic with some oversized tyres and a big turbo...

I have seen many Hondas in my hometown that sit over 300whp and are used as daily drivers. Usually for a mid 10's car it's not uncommon for it to be a daily driver as well. I couldn't find anything about fastest daily driven honda beyond this: World's fastest Honda Civic - Tampa Bay sports car | Examiner.com

Looks like story time:
You see, in America our taxes are used towards things like improving our roads and this allows us to have vehicles with more power :p. Unlike the crappy roads that were paved over from the 1300's in the UK (why can it take 2 hours to go 50 miles in this country?) . If you've ever been to America (as most of you are from the UK) you'll clearly know what I'm talking about, or vise versa.

As far as an 8 second car as a daily, yeah, not going to happen. The class that these guys race in have rules set out to keep the cars street legal, hence, if they really wanted to drive down to the grocery store, they could.
