OP:Next time I suggest you just pick a few of your favourite pictures, rather than posting every single one you took. Get yourself a new front wing, polish her up, fix the rear bumper, maybe strip the wheels and give them a lick of paint. You'll see it's going to make a lot of difference!

I have the new wing in my garage but the weather has been poor (

I took over 160 pictures but you have a point lol and I would polish her up but the paint has faded so bad that its a respray needed

You would be surprised what you could do with a weekend of tlc on that. My first eg was red and looked very similar before i hammerd it with a proper polish. Your shots are good, just a shame the car wasnt abit cleaner. Easy to sort out.

If you do get it re sprayed, get it undersealed and waxoiled aswell, then keep her having the piece of mind that youve got a clean rot free civic better the devil you know and plus it will be a real tidy car if you do that

if I have to get respray Ill sell it lol.... Either that or I spray it purple

That paint will come up defenatly, my old ibiza was like that untill i got my hands on it. Didint even need to mop it just done one panel using maguiers unlimited compound, stage 1-3 polish and wax and then finished of with tech wax, the results were unbelivable then i polished it once a week from there on.

Most panels have no laquer tho mate.. The lad at a local body shop tried a bit of hard cutting compound and it done nothing

Mine looked like that when i got it but then got it sprayed and was so much better. Have a look at some of my older thrads and you will see what it coukd look like p.s. You will not be able to get the colour back whatever you try. I tryed it on mine but because the laquer is on top it wont work.

Although its clearcoated, Milano red can come up great with some compounding and machine polishing!

Little red facelifts are quite rare! Could have a lot of potential this, Needs a real good tidy, is the back bumper bracket rusted off where it connects to the arch or is there just the screw missing, I know this is common on EK's!

Once I sort the wing and bumper Ill get it down to my mates for a proper detail and see how it comes up

it has actually split the part it goes into on the arch... it was caused by a recovery truck pulling a car into it
