Finally Experienced an EK9

After wanting to test drive one for so long, I finally made time today to head down to WRC sales to test drive an ek9.

They had two in stock, a black face lift model (stock) and a white pre facelift (modded).

First impressions of both these cars was just Wow. The ek9 really does look amazing in the flesh. And the interior was just as good. I love the seats

I was pretty gutted that I was unable to take them out for a test drive, but they were happy enough to take me out for a spin in the face lift.

From what Ive read about the ek9s, I was preparing myself for them to be really slow untill vtec. However, the car felt pretty responsive below vtec, and the handling was spot.

Seriously gutted I did'nt get to test drive it for myself, but I just need to decide asap, whether to sell my starlet turbo and buy an ek9 or not

Ive just sent my importer an email. I reccon I'm gonna go for one

@absolutlysideways - I dunno tbh mate. There were a few other guys there looking at cars, but they were not allowed to test drive them either. One of the sales men, was in charge of test drives, and was taking everyone out in the cars they liked.

But the ek9s just had this presence to them. They looked amazing.

go for it mate...as we have chatted about im in the same boat, i havent driven one..sat in one...or even seen one being driven!!! lol i just know its gonna be the best car i have ever driven and im in love with the way it looks

Totally agree dude. Ive been doing some thinking since I got back and I'm definately going for one
I can't explain how cool they look in the flesh. There were bigger/faster cars in the show room, but the ek9s really stood out.The interior and the seats were simply compared to my starlet

Not yet mate. I placed an order for one a few days ago, so just getting as much info as possible before my importer finds the right one.
