First Car! Need help

So i bought this Black 1998 Civic Hatchback DX i bought it with 130k on the dash and the interior is clean as it can be all original, but my question is what do you refer that would look nice(Nothing Expensive) I was gonna get a Type R Grille on Ebay first thing im going to buy. I also bought the car with a couple of scratches and dents so i'm gonna get that done sometime.

Post what you think i should add onto my new car, I'm a 16 year old guy that don't really no that much about cars and want to get to know about them so please give me some tips about what i should do.
 
Thanks RVM for the information, i really like those parts now i need the money, search where to get them, and learn how to put them on my car.
Also i have one question, my car is a Auto, is there a way i can convert it to a stick or can i get that Type R engine and put it on my Automatic. Just wondering, i probably wouldn't have money to buy that engine but just so i have an idea.

You can get a type r engine and install it to your car, but you'll need the clutch pedal, etc etc, it all depends on how much cash you want to spend :dance:
 
Ohhh ok, i was reading that conversion kit link you have me and some guy asked where to get them in the USA and you gave him this site http://www.jdmland.com/ is it the best place to get them or is this the best trusted and safe sites? Also if i do buy a part like for example a Front lip is it easy to put on? or should i take it to the nearest garage.

i too bought a 96 Civic ex coupe when i was 16 but im 20 now wow my project turn out to be what i always wanted. everything will work out fine when you have the cash, and first things first is knowing if you have cash or not to do what you would like to do.

But about JDMLAND i trust it somewhat but they take forever to ship and item its like you over paid for everything and they will find the cheapest of cheap shipping to ship the item to you.

Since we both live in CA where do you buy your Parts?
 
What's up! Im from Cali too, You can buy parts from Password:JDM, Hmotorsonline, lol and thats all i can remember for right now...
