Fuel Service halfords

I was in halfords earlier i noticed they were advertising Fuel service, which they say cleans fuel system and engine..... so that your car runs more efficently.

Has anyone had this done? Is this similar to just putting redex petrol treatment in your tank? isit just halfords trying to make more money?:drive:
 
i wouldnt let the monkeys in halfords change a bulb or fit a stereo never mind servicing an engine! :nono:
 
I work at halfords. Dont do it. Waste of money.
 
Fair doos. What is halfords like for body work then? got a dent in the back of my bonnet that im sick of looking at. Its only a bit bit bigger than the badge.
 
I would never use any kind of injector or fuel cleaner in my engine , let alone let halfords idiots do anything to it

Just find your local dent specialist... someone who deals with dents day in and day out and who's going to do a really good job.
 
if you want to clean your fuel system buy fuel filter from honda and do yourself, take injectors of and have ultrasonically cleaned, then tank of optimax and your done

Is the paint broken on the dent? If not you can always go to a Paintless Dent Repair specialist and see if they can do something about, it won't make it 'as new' but it'll make it far less visible.

Phone you local Honda and they will usually have a reputable person who comes and does their cars weekly, that's how I found someone in my area. I just took my car along to remove a ding in the door on the day they came to Honda, paid in cash and drove off dent free 15 minutes later.
 
Body work costs money.
If you get it done cheaply you'll normally be disappointed at the end of the day.

The body work is amazing. But its over priced mate. Prob looking at about £100 to fix what you've described. A paintless dent remover could do a whole car for about the same price within reason.
 
It's sad that so many unwitting people will be suckered and pay for such a thing.

I would rather give my car to a blind hairdresser.
