GBPJPY Exchange rate

Guess a few of you importing personally follow this market closely,

Gone from 210 JPY to the pound a year ago, to 120JPY to the pound at the end of January, been on a slow recovery since, but months of recovery have just been undone in the last half hour :( Sad times indeed!:(

any reason why that has happened today??? looks verrrryyy strange
 
Edit: Thats one hell of a drop.

Japan didnt introduce their recovery scheme today or the likes

it'll go up again,japan's just a bit behind us.
the strong yen is hurting them too.
 
So what did it dip to yesterday, just checked now and it is at 150. Your first post scared the **** out of me as i just purchased 3 cars out there.
Just to make my job alot harder in the last 6 weeks the price of ek9's has risen 25% ?????

i bought one in japan a couple of weeks back and dc5 running gear and i'm just about to pay for both,i shat myself too lol,but its not that bad its only dipped a bit, i follow the exchange rate and wait for when i think its best to send money over,i'll give it another couple of weeks and then pay,hopefully it'll pick up a bit.
