Just wondering seeing as The EK is pretty high performance do you guys run it on super unleaded or just normal? Ive been told many different stories about the etiquette of fueling higher performance cars?

I only use shell vpower or premium gas, no problems at all!
 
I use shell v power 99 ron only this is best mate you cant go wrong with this
 
are v power 99 ron now.. always thought it was 98 :)
either way, that is what i used on my ek4's
 
I mate when it was shell optimax it was 98 ron but when it changed to shell vpower they made it 99 ron
 
Kool hanks guys i thought that might have bn the case! gd stuff Well not for the wallet ne ways!
 
In my country, vpower is 95 octane ! :(

Wow, that's not good, here there is no lower than 95 octane. I'm currently using the 98 octane gasoline. The first couple of times that i used the 98, there was not noticable difference until the tank was completely cleaned from the 95 remains!!
 
Definately v power. The best for all vtecs.

But vtecs just seem to be taking too much of a liking to the stuff ;) Drinks it..

But standard unleaded wouldn't do it wrong.
 
how much is V power now is it over a £1 a ltr. i remember ages ago whe it was 79.9 (optimax) and i thought that was high, cheap as hell now lol
 
LOL, i ONLY use V-power, thats a habit from the skyline days:nice:much cleaner fuel as well apparently

optimax 98 ron is gone now, shells v-power 99 ron replaced it........£1.02 per liter now :angry:

pure TAX rip off :angry2:
