God hand S2000 Nurburgring


He passes the bridge at around 00:31 and the gantry at 09:15. So about 8:45. Not bad... but not really fast either... haha! It sounds f*in awesome though!!! haha!

At least he wasn't one of those pricks with the hand on the top of the wheel.

The steering wheel does look tiny though.
 
8:45 isn't too bad, I only managed an 8:59 in a stock one when I had one. First time there though. 8:45 should be poss in a stock one on stock tyres. Sounds epic though!
Probably wasn't trying that hard to only have one hand on the wheel.

Don't think I've actually properly wanted an s2k until seeing that video.
 
They are a cracking car, but mods are expensive, like silly expensive. And insurance is even worse! I can insure an evo for similar price to s2k.
 
Handles well with loads of power it seems, I'm impressed with it as I haven't watched many s2k onboards..
 
Yeah does seem to rev pretty well, compared to my video. Perhaps the gearing is shorter on his one. Or mine was ****ed
 
I had one, for 6 days and sold it, thought it was boring :s.

Its a good time considering traffic and show boating, although i can get just under 9 in a stock EK9 :p.

From what i know "God Hand" single hand driving technique is an actual technique and Initial D got a lot of it from Colin McRae who used to do it during rallying. Most Initial D techniques are taken from actually professional drivers from that era. Amazing so much technical and factual information in a anime!
 
Makes the s2k look real easy to drive. Looks like it handles well though.

this guy is from Greece he is pretty fast and he has good results on our racetracks too!

seems like he is having fun and that is what the ring is all about for the tourist runs. To me having fun there is more important than chasing a good BTG time. The S2K looks very fun to drive

Not a good driver at all, no consideration for his safety or his pal. Just cause the car is settled he is too confident. Lovely sound, he should want to enjoy that for longer, by living longer.
 
Sorry Yea i know they hav th f20 and f22 but just wondered if they hav th same potential for NA power as a k20 does?
 
Lap was good to watch, don't think he is trying to claim a quick time just a fun time

I was more concerned he would let someone in his car with facial hair like that :wtf2:
