Has anyone got one yet and is it much of an improvement over the first one?

Yes really good improvement from the comparisons I've seen. Main ones for me are:

- Much better low light performance
- Better lens
- Better chip (Higher megapixel)
- Better menu system
 
DV8 are you going to upgrade then? I'm thinking about it but just spent a load already on mods for the FN2 :)
 
Im thinking about getting one,shame the mic is near useless on them!
 
How much are the gopro hero Motorsport cameras worth now? It's 8months old and mint condition.
 
I love go pro's....always borrowing my buddies. Shame the sound tends to suffer. Although after some research i found that you can buy something called a 'windsheild' to cut down the noise.
 
is it worth paying the 300 for the hero 2 or it it better to go for the hero 1 or i was thinking of saving costs altogether and going for the contourHD ? this is for my motocross bike , did anyone have any experience with the contour ?
 
If you can somehow get one from the states its a lot cheaper (and easy to get a friend to bring it back in their luggage)...

I will upgrade and keep the HD Hero for a second angle! :)
 
That sounds a plan may be going to new York around April I'll bring a suit case back full of them :))
