Gruppe M -intake system?


I think I need to go to specsavers cause my eyes can not be seeing what I think I am seeing:shocked: $910 for that intake??
 
My friend has a gruppe m on his jdm ep3, it is quite an awesome bit of kit, check out the website and you'l see what sort of company your looking at, top stuff but very expensive for the b16 imo.
 
To me, that looks like a really good design. If you gave that an unrestricted cold air source, you would have a really nice system for the street.
 
supposed to very very good systems..but as with the mugen stuff its just massively overpriced.

for that price get the mugen better known and proven gains
 
I was looking at that the other night when i ordered my reservoir socks from them. Nice bit of kit but it is very pricey. I am just making my own cold air box from stainless steel and getting the hard pipes made up too, Will be a lot cheaper and probably do the job just as good.
 
I heard it is the best you can get for the DC2 albeit at a huge cost. Looks good though!
 
Like i said, they are awesome filters but costly, the mishimoto copy of the gruppe m also looks awesome and is cheap on ebay.com.
 
sighhh... they only use a K&N air filter and design some Carbon stuff to go with it.

Personally, GruppeM is OVERATED!!!! I've seen all their intakes, nothing special, its a shame...

Good for DC2????? How does sucking air from behind the radiator sound any good than stock box? Seriously... Stock box works better
 
Do you really notice that much difference unless you have a ton of other mods though...?

I have a GM on my s2k and there really isn't that much difference from the stock box and filter apart from a smooth idle in traffic.
