Hello from Germany :>

Fair enough!

I would be there all the time if I lived in Germany! Have been 6 times in 5 years! I love the place.

Is the law quite strict on modififed cars then?

Hehe well....although i have high opinions about the nordschleife as one of the best and most challenging race tracks on the planet...but well i didnt felt and i dont feel like "i absolutely have to drive on this track" ...to drive on that race track just for fun is...well...it doesnt belong to my priorities...and well...since my/our normal "street" cars arent tuned or have a lot horse power, whats the point then in driving there ?

Ok ok, my first car was an BMW E30 318is with 1800ccm, 136PS and 1250kg weight...but its staying in our garage right now and it waits for this summer to get some "fresh love" ;)

And driving with the IS there as a "novice driver" would be pretty stupid :/ Got my drivers license in 2008...

If the time is right and i want it, then iam gonna drive there ;)

This year i will drive my first full race season in slalom motorsports and thats what counts right now :)

Hey...they arent that strict in my opinion. You can modify your car of course, but i dont know where you cross the borders and slip into the illegal area ...

If my father tunes his/my cars, they will be used for motorsports only. It depends on, at which group in the slalom motorsport you want to drive. There is a groupd with licensed cars only and there are groups with modified cars that arent "street legal" anymore.

If you do some engine tuning, or changeing "stock parts" vs. "performance/race parts" then you have to go to our german TÜV (Technical Inspection Authority)...either they will accept those modifications or they dont, then you have to remove them. The other possiblity is, you just dont go there and drive with "illegal" parts.

If you built an accident or a police officer controls your car or stuff like that...then you are deeply screwed...
