Hello all!

Last month I bought an EK9 '98 for a good bargain...all in (interior & exterior) only without the B16b engine. The chassis is in great condition but need to do some paint job over minor scratches and dents. I planned to put in the B18cR engine taken from my old civic 4 doors EJ6 in which the chassis cannot longer hold the fierceness of my engine since the car been crashed in an accident last year.

Cannot wait anymore to be in my EK9 soon.:))
 
I went to Malayisa about a month and I went to KL for 3 days. I have seen 1 EG6 and 1 EG4 only, never seeing any EK hatch..........Alot of Daihatsu.

Actually there are lot of civic on the Malaysia's road...especially domestic civic EK sedan (here called EJ6/EJ7). I could say EK hatch are quite rare in Malaysia...and for those who owns it considered as lucky bastards...haha..(the same goes to me) :)). fyi, u could only find just a few original EK9 in Malaysia. The price here is heavenly high...the import tax been charged is 200% of the price.

Maybe you should hang out some more time during night at certain part in KL..especially on Saturday nite. Next time, let us know before you come.

Ahh..the Daihatsu you're talking about..actually it could be a domestic car brand Perodua Kancil which is sharing the same chassis with Daihatsu MIRA...it's a facelift anyways.

I've ssen much rare parts on the cars from malaysia:) You got a official honda club i suppose?

>B18c gsr motor + complete set B16b head with power train.
>Ogura super single clutch.
>H22A injectors set.
>BC titanium spring retainers. (before I used spec 3 BC cams but sold to ma fren, just keep the retainers)
>Mugen 4-1 header + buddyclub spec 3 piping set.
>stock EK9 gearbox (S4C R4 LSD)
>Koyo aluminum 2 layers radiator.
>Blue emanage on OBD1 wiring...re-chipped.

suspension, tires & brakes:
>HWL hilo/soft hard set.
>Endless brake pads front, rear oem stock EK9.
>stock EK9 rotor discs and calipers.
>Tires BF Goodrich both rear & front.
