HELP!?! Fixing crashed EK9

Hi

I had a lil, errr big accident with my EK9 about 2 months ago, and i've just recieved my payment yesterday, to my surprise they paid me out wrong! only ended up with £2700! so i'm trying to get the car repaired with that amount!

Insurance will pay the rest out later they reassure me! I've attached some photos for u to see, please brace yourself doesn't look pretty! :(
I'm sure someone will ask how it happened, so in brief; driving down straight road car decides to turn right from otherside of road came into the middle of my lane and smack.... :angry2:

I was wondering if anyone can help me source out some headlights, ac rad, bumper (or after market one). I've managed to get all the other parts. The headlights i can't seem to find anywhere!

I've also just ordered some new rota wheels, i know their not the best but i had a budget to keep to.

Car has been sent off for the body work today so i will keep u posted on how it's coming along with photos! :nice:

the headlights are available from honda mate think they are £160 a pair,are your wheels damaged badly?

i maybe able to help, my friend knows the owner a lil bit and its local to him.

so if you want something checked out or see if he can get a deal for you just let me know what you want and I will ask my friend to go to the shop.
 
Sad to hear t his...what I can see here you have to replace one/both headlight, new bumper with lip, grill, both fender also the hood...and all your airbag seems like all gone...need to replace them with air bag tray and racing steering wheel I guess
as long as the body can be fix...it will be ok i guess:)
 
Tmus, if u can find out about the headlights please that would be greatful!

I'd just had a look at what they have and seems like they have all the parts for my car there, there is a white 2000 year ek9 thats just had roof damage, looks like most of the front of the car is alright! Need to get bumper with splitter, ac rad as well! I think their near the midlands?

The body shop is just putting the car on the jig now so they'd want to align everything soon.

Yeah the car was still able to drive out of the compound!! Drove it onto the trailer too! The engines amazing, never ceases to amaze me! :D

I can't wait till i get her back on the road! It's my anti depressant!

I think also the front grill, i can't seem to see mine at all!

Gatwick is miles away from me! lol But if i have to i'll drive down there!

i can order you all parts from honda Japan, the only problem is they will ship it to my faccility in yokohama and i only have direct linkt from yokohama to switzerland twice a week. so it would be very expensive to get such big parts from here to you! if i where you i would have a look on used parts and of course you'll find a lot likie headlights on ebay etc! i think even radiators front supports etc will be damaged. do your doors still close fine? otherwise maybe the complete chassis is twisted and needs to bee stretched on a stretch-bench (sorry, have no idea what's the real name for this tool in english *lol*)

All the doors on my car close properly, just mainly the whole front end of the car. Can't wait i get it back!

I think tmus has sourced out the headlights and ac rad!! :thanks:
 
I've just been searching on ebay, and i'm looking for the front grill, is there much difference in the USA EK9 grill compared to the JDM one?

Tried to post up links but wouldn't let me post on the thread!

Yea mate corral is rite there £80 each from honda so £160 for pair take honda 2 days to get them from belgium :nice:
 
Ive had a look at your photos mate and providing theres no suspension damage or front chassis leg jigging to be done you should be able to fix it up with what you've got from the insurance

Looks like you need 2 new wings
new head lights
new bumper and spliter+grille
new front slam panel
new lower front member
new radiator +A/C radiator
new bumper bar
new front member

of course non of the above have to be new or yellow just good if you know what mean mate i'll try and source you some prices for the above of people i know at honda and or people i know in body repair

Thanks mate, i'll go into Honda tmr and check it out! Will it still be the JDM ones tho? Or some chome thing?

I've seen some on ebay, from funky power, but their £180 w/o p&p (£15)

Vtec, thanks for this! I've got most of all the front end, i brought the whole front end from a rear crashed honda from scrap yard for £250 which includes both wings, slam panet, etc, just need to get the parts to make it look like a CTR again!

All i need now is:

AC rad - probs from Jap Performance Parts
Headlights - will find out at Honda in the morning
Bumper - .... ain't got a clue where from or if i should get a'market
Grill - probs funky power on ebay

Also i've got an Rad from a Civic 1.6VTI, would that be same as CTR, looks the same just different color? Would they work the same?
