Help needed, new battery?

Hi guys,

Wondering if you could help?

I out to the car this morning, opened it up(remote central locking), put the key into the ignition, and nothing!!! :((

No lights on the dash, no electrics in the car what so ever... All i can think of is the battery is completely dead although it hasn't been struggling to start at all... Tried jump starting... NOTHING... Tried towing to generate a charge... NOTHING...

Alarm won't even work, no central locking or anything now...

Any ideas?
 
Sounds like your main relay might not be working or one of your battery leads is broken. Does the radio come on when the key is turned to position 1?
 
I would check if any of you earth wiring is loose. My mate's car went bizerk one time when an earthing wire was loose. We tightened it and all was good as new.

I'll check the main relay once it stops raining... The battery leads seemed fine... And no, no radio or any electronics at position 1...
 
Not sure but I think even if the main relay was at fault the radio should work, could be wrong though. Check all earths especially the one down by your gearbox.
 
Problem solved guys...

Turns out it was a break in connection in a solenoid switch in my fuse box... Delighted thats all it was... Fixed now :D
