Hi guys! Would like to check and see if anyone have encounter this problem before or not. Alright, the story goes this way. Im running on B18C 2000 Spec's motor and i have an issue which is while moving off my RPM stuck at 2000 and won't rev up be it i half throttle or full throttle. The whole car felt as it's being pulled back. If i full throttle it will still stuck at 2000 RPM and gotta wait for about 3-5 seconds before the whole car jumped out when it regain the rev. It's not very normal as not only it happens on 1st gear, but 2nd, 3rd, 4th also! Another thing is it only happens if im stuck in a traffic jam for too long and when my aircon is on. If i turn off the aircon it will regain back to normal state.

So far up till now it's been about 3 weeks and other then traffic jam the car feels normal. Nobody can answer my question up till now so im pinning my hope here hoping i can get an answer and fixed it.

:please: :please: :please: :please:

do you have a tps gauge? clean the tps plug, check the basics, it's been a while since i had throttle problems or even worked on a honda but i'll post back if my brain remembers :blinx:

TPS gauge has already been cleaned weeks back but it's still the same.

Blocked cat or decat maybe? i had a problem where it felt like i was being pulled back.
Fixed it by replacing old worn decat.

Bad earth connection somewhere possibly,

Have also heard of similar problems caused by faulty main relay.

No checklight was on.

I'm not running on any cat. I'm running straight through. Have checked all the sensors as well.

Bad earth connection? I'm not sure if it is as recently my battery drain out very fast. Even if i have changed a new battery for 2 weeks there was no problem but 2 days back it started came back. I had just parked my car and about 10 mins later i tried to restart engine but it's seem like battery flat out can't start. Asked my mechanic about it he said battery flat could be due to my sound system. He told me somewhere is leaking electric even if i did not start the car and my sound system is taking in electric.

I still couldn't verify where is it and im not sure if the 2000rpm stuck is due to the leaking of electric or it's other problem.

Check if you battery is charging with engine running, put a multi meter on the battery and pick the revs up, should see over 13 volts with the revs picked up a bit,

Try the same thing with a/c lights and sterio on and see what reading you get,

Mostly likely a bad engine earth or charging problem that is stopping it revving in my opinion

You can do battery leak off test with an amp clamp if you have one, shouldnt be any more than 0.04 to 0.02 of an amp. If it is more disconnect your sound system see if it drops down to correct levels
