I took my s4c box out of my ek9 to fit a 98 spec s80 with short 4th & 5th. My s4c has an aftermarket diff that I was told was a spoon 1 but I haven't a clue tbh. Can anyone on here tell me. Cheers

Take some better close up pics, showing as much close up detail as possible

The spoon 1,5 plated diff for B series gearboxs has spoon clearly engraved on the side of the diff.

From the second picture it defiantly looks like a helical style LSD as opposed to a plated one. Im looking at it on my crappy work screen.

Could even be an OEM diff :(

I think its a helical aswell, defo not OEM though, OEM speedo gear isn't machined into the housing like the one he has.(well mine isn't)

That is a plate lsd from those pictures . Can you take a pic of the cam through the side ?

I'm hopeless when it comes to stuff like this man ha. What do you mean of the cam through the side. The box is back together by the way

Ah if its back in then theres no chance of seeing it , but its definitely a Cusco RS or MZ. A picture through the side openings would be able to tell between an RS and MZ
