Help with ukdm exhaust guys thanks

I have a ukdm dc2 with completely standard exhaust i have a jdm 4-1 maniold along with a 2.5 adjustable decat sourced! What i want to know is will the 2.5 decat flange line up with the bpipe flange fine?
Or how will i work this:please::angry2:

Also is ukdm dc2 cat exact same as ek4 1.6Vti cat

Have you not asked the first question before and had an answer?

As for the cat being same as ek4 its possible i felt stock manifold is similar to ek4 but dnt know for sure
 
Theres diferent views some say the 2.5 cat will fit ukdm b pipe others on itr dc2 say it wont so im unsure and would just like to know before i spend the money to find it doesnt fit:nerv:
 
2.5" cat? the jdm 2.5" cat? that wont fit its too short for a start

This exactly why i aint touching my ukdm system untill i can replace the hole lot of it at once.

confuses hell outa me i dont even think jdm systems are 2.5" the are like 2.36 or somthing?

itr-dc2 is full of alot of people that dont seem to want to help much. im surprised you got an answer and not reffered to a sticky that doesnt actualy help. I have a topic on there just now asking what is the actual size of the jdm cat back but as usual its links to stickys that doesnt even state the answer i wanted. feel like ranting today lol its one of those days :blabla: but basicly i was asking the question because if a jdm cat back is only about 10mm bigger than a ukdm then things mite match up better than we think. i could be wrong this is why i posted a thread. Obviously the biggest difference is the manifold and cat which everybody talks about


Somebody said to you before buy a tegiwa adjustable decat, if unsure then contact tegiwa yourself before you order and make sure its going to do the job you want.
 
Ya mate itr-dc2 seems very quiet was just stickys i was looking at! Mixed views on that!
Ya just seems best to change it all at once to get best results!
Wat bright spark put 2.25 exhausts on ukdm tegs to start with:angry2:
 
I Would have thought it will line up no problem. Could always make it fit. You really want to be swapping it out with an aftermarket one anyways. weighs a ton from memory and its not going to make as good hp as a 2.5 Should also swap the ecu for a jdm one. As far as im aware the key difference between a jdm and uk is the exhaust and ecu. Ive changed mine over to 98 spec ones and run a custom 2.5 from collector to spoon n1 exhaust and the car is fast.
