Hi all just bought this type r in need of a little tlc but on the upside only has 69k has a sticker in the window and would like some more history on the car.

Has lots of mot's and reciepts but handbook must have been misplaced at some point as it's had some nice mods and been looked after at some point.

Last owner was Adam
Owner before was Steven brayshaw.
R859 gnb is the reg.

Going to get it back to as mint as I can and replace all the rear interior.

You got this for a bargain price.

This was up on Gumtree yesterday for 1k !! Yes 1,000
 
was a little more than that i feel i missed out now as i did think i got a bargain but not that much of one
 
think its removed now, paid alot less than that though. cant wait to get her back to a1 condition. i was hoping i could find more info with there being a sticker in the window but everyone is more bothered about what i paid. lovely welcome
 
Im sure someone on here will have more info on the car, fire a closer pic of the sticker up

Not saying it's a bad thing. Fair play to you :) Just suprised it was so cheap.
What needed sorting if you don't mind me asking? Oh and welcome.
 
mot really, going to engine flush and new oil and filter then it's off to TGM for a good going over got some new rear bushes here as well going to underseal it as well. It's very clean no major rust inside of the arches are clean as arches whistle. Slight graz on the rear bumper nothing serious.

She starts and gears are all good change into third etc not going crazy until I know she has a clean bill of health. Check all the mileage with vosa all adds up. Only covered around 12k on the UK roads.
 
A good service and clean up is always a great way to start. Seems like you have a good base to start with as well.

You may try contacting nfspeedy and/or type-r-dunk if you're looking for history on the car. They're both a wealth of knowledge (as are many other members) and have helped me out with researching my EK9.
