Just wonder wat is the best aftermarket ecu for a b16A2 vti, it has a type-r throttle body and skunk2 cams and i am just looking for something wit big rev limit, longer vtec engagement and to free up hidden horsepower?????

Going to need a standalone ecu, there is plenty of options. AEM, Motec, Apexi Power FC. A good choice is a obd1 ecu installed with Hondata s300 or obd1 socketed+chipped tuned using crome or ectune etc.

Find a local tuner who is reputable and see what ecu's they are familier with tuning.

Does this motor you speak of have upgraded valve springs as well? If so then by all means take it to 9k with the proper ecu.. if not play it safe and do not go over the stock rev limit.

And it's in the tune.. not the ecu/chipped ecu, like previously stated.

Once its a vtec ecu and from a manual transmission car. So can be P30(b16a), P28(d16z6) etc.
