Haha! Nice one. The 1st time I heard one I couldn't believe the noise it made

So is boost coming on quite late or do you have it set up for midrange power?

The way its been set-up is that i wanted the car to feel like a normal ep3 when drivng normal around town (although it still isnt my everyday car), didnt want the car to hit full boost low down, or catch me out by suprise, its all about top end power more focusing towards drag racing, as when driving quick in a straight line your always above 5krpm even between gears so no need for low down full bost tbh, although if it did boost up say 500krpm earlier than it is now that would have been better, a set of cams will sort that out though.

Wanted it to be a fun car and thats exactly what it is, you can hear the turbo spool up giving a nice whistle sound, then wastegate opens, screamer screams, planting you in your seat whilst the sound the car makes is scaring everyone you go past, then the tial BOV gives a nice sound when shifting gears.

It hits full boost at around 5krpm, launch control has been set so i can have full boost as soon as i let off the clutch if needed.
 
Sounds like you've got it set just right. Still fairly sensible when you want to be and mega lairy at full chat! :drive:

hi , av got a 2000 model ek9 55000 miles if u want to do a deal , only sold my ep3 a month an half a go and want another 1

this car seems like paracetamol.takes the headache and stress away when the boost kicks in yehhh?? Lol

The sound the car makes is very addictive, its a very nice place to be in aswell. The vibration you get from the avid racing engine mounts is a good feeling aswell, you can tell your in sometihng quick and you get no wheel hop atall like what most powerful ep3's suffer from when they are using oem mounts, which eventually split and makes everything judder.
