Hey guys,

A friend of mine is thinking about getting one for his ek4, and asked if i could get some info on them.
From the pics Ive seen of them, the piping is mild steel, and the back box is s/s?

Has anyone had any experience with these, also where could he get one at the best price?

From what my mate said, they sound pretty cool and not too lound when crusing, but let rip in the higher revs

just make sure its the EK4 model and NOT the us market ej6 model as

ej6 version = 55mm piping.
ek4 version = 60mm piping.

Mild steel will sound better than SS, but you can easily just get one made like that, it really isn't hard, so why pay extra?

i only know of US websites that offer the 55mm version. i agree with jugbugz though, it would be best to just buy a universal back box and have the piping custom made

Ye, some of the hks stuff is pretty expensive for what it is I guess.Would a universal backbox with custom piping sound similar to this exhaust if built to the same spec roughly?
He said hes after something thats easy to live with on a daily basis, but also has to sound nice and deep in the higher rpms/vtec. Hes not into the raspy exhaust notes he says.

2.25inch and 3 long resonators(hotdogs) and 2.25inch back box with 7inch housing. Video will be coming...

Thanks guys, I'll pass on the info. I was listening to a few systems on youtube lastnight and the Megan racing drift spec sounds pretty nice and deep, but quiet on idle:

Bump. Ive just asked about the megan racing exhaust on another forum, and basically got slated for even contemplating puting one on an ek9 or ek4 lol. Are they really that bad?
