Honda Civic EK9 *Update PG14 - For sale as of Japfest 2013*


Ickle ickle update.

tyres arrived the other day picked them up, been using Toyo T1R's for years on different cars so thought sod it, ill try some Yokohama Prada Spec 2's. mixed reviews but i thought why not !

and finally dad his picked up his new car the other day - Jaguar XF 2.7 V6 Diesel, sounds pretty cool for a diesel tbh ( nice mondeo :p )

I used to use t1r's then tried the parada's they are better but ad08's are far superior again,

Where was the car dyno'd? AP motors?
 
yes . well now called AK Motors ( believe they went bankrupt ).

probably me being a sour lemon, there rollers maybe fine but the car read a bit under standard power. they don't seem the most the competent?
 
Yeah they aren't the best up there a load of us went up there years ago and had all sorts of funny numbers, my nine came out with higher numbers though,

Also just ordered, tegiwa whales ***** induction and got a heat soaking reduction tool in the pipeline for it ( thank you shaun )

new o2 sensor, i thought 22 mpg in my civic was acceptable but apparently not lol so hopefully that should rectify the problem :D

and a new fuel filter to complete the service, leads can wait for now as there are new-ish and in good condition ;D

So.. since my last update - another bit of a boring one :p

Car serviced with new JDM Hamp oil filter, new OEM fuel filter, New o2 sensor, New Castrol oil, cv joints replaced, basic health check done, change of plugs , new air filter, 4 new tyres fitted and a decent clean :D All done at 141k ( on clock )

standard removed and replaced with this - NOISE IS IMMENSE !!!! no heat soak issues yet.

Mess than the cv had made ( part removed in this pic ) but now all replaced :D

and haha thanks , well i try to keep this as up to date as possible, just means when i come to sell it in the future the new owner can see how its been looked after, services have been done, and how much I absolutely love the thing !

it says 141 on the clocks, thats a mix of KM and Miles, did the maths about a week ago and its roughly 96k Miles
