Honda Haters

this noob has make me really angery, why are they tryin to compare v8's to 1.6-2.l engines there a totally different class
quote

"the Horsepower Per Liter Ploy
A lot of Honda and Acura lovers like to cite their engines' "superiority" and "efficiency" with "Hondas make more horsepower per liter." Ahh... the lame old "power per liter" ploy. Some high performance Honda engines make over 100 horsepower per liter. While that is nice, Honda lovers forget that those engines are only a tiny 1.8 liters! A high performance American 4.6 liter V-8 makes about 305 horsepower. Do the math!
305 horsepower > 195 horsepower

305 horsepower is more than 195 horsepower, no matter what the engine's displacement. Ants can lift 100 times their body weight; humans can lift much less. Ants are much smaller in size than humans. Humans are so much less "efficient" than ants, so does that make ants "superior" to humans?
Horsepower per liter means nothing, when a car with lower specific output but more total horsepower is beating you! A stock VTEC Integra has specific power well above a stock Mustang Cobra, but in an acceleration contest, the less "efficient" Mustang Cobra will win. On the street, small engines only provide the loser with an easy excuse. What will the Honda owner do after losing? Whip out his calculator, punch some keys and tell the V-8 owner, "You won, but your engine has lower specific output than my highly superior Integra!!!"

102 Horsepower per Liter

Many Honda enthusiasts smugly say, "Name me one American car that has 100 hp/liter STOCK--YOU CAN'T!" American automakers have done this before, years before Honda! In 1991-93, the Dodge Spirit R/T made 224 HP @ 6000 RPM from a 2.2 liter 16V DOHC turbo engine. This works out to 102 HORSEPOWER PER LITER! In 1993 the Dodge Daytona IROC R/Tused the same engine and made the same horsepower. Why didn't we hear more about these cars? The Honda lovers were too busy saying American cars suck! "

if you turbo any engine course its gonna make more power, why couldnt he of comapre a stock N/A american car to a stock N/A jap car

God he don't half bang on! :blabla:
I love this bit!

i know tell me about it cant stop laughing at this poor write up why is is comparing larger engines to lower engine size he must have life issues or somthing

what a pleb, must have lots of time and no friends.

i read to the second paragraph entitled false hondas and acuras, and thought this guy clearly knows nothing and proves it in what he is saying so thought its not worth a read sorry :)

crease up... i like to know everything i say but try not to say everything i know but he clearly doesn't fully understand the whole power/WEIGHT 'thing'.... just let him think!!!

it's hilarious that he equates a turbo engine's output to that of an NA.

stay in school kids! :)

I bet this guy got walked by a Honda/Acura in his American Car on the way home before writing this and was so mad he vented by making this poorly written and researched page.. Lmaoo.. The Masses of Dumbasses..

That lad is so stupid..He is comparing to very different cars..Its like comparing a 50cc bike with a super bike..Pure stupid..He doesnt understand that his car weighing about 3000kg with a big 4 liter turbo engine compared to a car just over 1000kg with a 1.6 or 1.8 engine

This kind of makes sense, the kid is a purebred yank, he doesn't know what a corner is or how to tackle one, only how to floor the throttle in a straight line.

For that purpose, American muscle wins every time, so fair play. Sad that he is so narrowminded to think that drag racing is all there is to performance cars, but still.

This kinda reminds me of a converstation i was having with a mate in his Alfa GTV 3.0 V6.
He was saying the EK9 is really good considering it's small engine, and i was like yeah wouldn't it be good if Honda made a 3.0 V6. Then i remembered Honda already do, the NSX.
So if you take some big V6 or V8 American car and stick up against something made by Honda with the same size engine, it's good bye Yanky.
End of argument really.

Didn't read the whole thing but noticed in one graph they are comparing 1.6 and 1.8 honda engines to 4.6 and 5.7 litre muscle cars!!!

Of course there gonna have more power

One things for sure they wouldn't handle like an ek9 :drive:

bu-but mama says! but mama says hondas tha devil! lol rednecks r funny...

so my ej9 is bout 140 brake stock??? lol!!!
