I have a japanese honda integra its a 1.6, DC1, dual carb, 16valve, 1995.
When i start it from cold a red light stays on on its located beside the oil warning light on the top right of the display! It looks like two Horizontal lines and about three or four vertical wavey lines coming up from the horizontal lines! It goes away after you drive the car for about two minits, I think it must be something to do with the heating system,as it only comes on when the engines cold! I looked at an american acura manual on the internet, but it didnt have this light in it. If anyone knows what the light indicates or what the problom is, could you please let me know, or it you can send me a link where i could look at at an online user for a japanese DC1 integra on the internet. I would be very greatful for some information.

Thanks,

Colm.

I think I know the light your on about, its for the exhaust temp. sensor located near the cat. Used to come up on a import civic I had one time. It get its earth from the exhaust metal and when its all rusty it doesn't earth correctly. Try bolting it out and cleaning the surface and refit.
