I did a auto to manual swap I have a problem with when I have my obd2b to obd1 jump harness with a p28 chip ecu my rpm don't work but when I put a stock ecu rpm work fine if there had somebody with this problem can u help me please to fix it or how you fix yours thank you
Hello everyone! Is anybody knows how to switch obd2a to obd2b 3stage jdm (p2j-j81) with manual tranny that it could works correctly. At this moment seems like vtec won't engage. Maybe someone has pinout? If so please share.
As seen on the first page of this thread... in order to run a USDM EM1 ecu (OBD2B/37820-P2T-A11) in my 2000 EK9 Rx I have to do the vtec oil pressure switch bypass by splicing the VTM/pin C10 (which is normally not in the EK9 harness) with the VTS/pin B12. A previous owner has pinned a VTM/C10 wire into the harness plug so the mod was easy. Factory the C10 is unwired however there is a pin on the stock ecu (OBD2B/37820-PCT-J11) in this location.
My question then is whether or not this will be harmful to the stock ecu or cause any issues if I leave these two connected?

I have a Civic EP Ecu year if vehicle 2003.
I was told that the Ecu was the same for Type r EK9, how true that is I'm not sure.
I'm looking for Ecu pinouts.
I have supplied photos of Ecu.
I'm putting together a small rig on the bench to show how the immobiliser works at university.
I don't need all pin out info but just enough to connect OBD II socket, IMMO light in cluster & key reader coil around ignition switch.
