how much is a b16b worth in parts!

hi im just woundering is a b16b worth more in parts then selling as a whole.

Cams - £150
Head - £200
Pistons - £50
Block - £150
Valvetrain - ?
Rods/crank are only of use to other B16Bs so probably little value in those.
Might make a bit more on assorted sensors, pipes etc.
 
You will always make more breaking the engine but it's more hassle and ususally takes longer to sell everything.
 
Well I haven't seen one less than 1500 with gearbox ect of course.

will b16b crank and pistons fit b16a2 block
 
B16B pistons will fit on B16A rods, but the B16B crank requires B16B rods which will not.
 
I'm looking for a B16B empty bottom !

Even a broken engine will do : I'm planning to have it re-sleeved
with Darton MID sleeves and bored at 84.5mm !

So, if you have one without crank, rods, pistons even with damaged sleeves...
