I have an ej9 and just looking to remove the rear wiper (they dnt clean window anyway). I have the plug (from fire wall behind battery) and can remove the nut but dont know how to take out the whole actual thing. Do I have to remove motor, etc. as well or do i just pull it out?

it's the same think like ek hatchbacks :)
first to remove your rear wiper is very easy.
swift the plastic cover at the edge of the wiper slowly
and remove (the 10mm as i can remember) bolt.
pull it and now your wiper is out !

then if you want you have to remove the rest electric motor etc
you have to remove your rear trunk plastic cover
be carefull not to brake it !!:nerv:
then you have to remove 3 bolts as i can remember
unplug one harness and here you are !!:D
try to find something to cover the hole there !

sorry for my bad English.

i removed the 10mm nut, but the wiper wont come off? ive tried twisting and pulling but it seems like its stuck from the other side? mayb another nut on the inside?

or could it b corrosion what is making it seem this way? i just dont wana pull too hard and break it :/

and roy u can get the rubber grommits from halfrauds for like £1.39.

you have to take the whole motor out anyway :nice:

or you can get tasty aluminium bung on US ebay,it has threaded hole in it
and screws onto the threaded part which protrudes the hole in boot/trunk.
this way means you can leave motor
better to take it out anyway and use rubber bung...3 pack 39p....result :)

How did u take motor out?

After youve removed the plastic cover and the nut from the wiper arm, open ur boot and at either side of the catch there should be 2 grey 2 part plugs, 1 either side. youl see u can push the centre in (with a thin screwdirver or pen anything) then these should pull out. there are then i would say 6-8 plastic plugs throughout the whole interior bootlid cover which should just pop off with light force, start at the bottom and you can see what your doing after that.

then youl see the motor, take out the 3 nuts and disconect the wire (i taped the wire up incase of any leaks etc. stick the panel back on (just pops back on) T-cut the mark where the wiper arm used to b, stick ur grommet in and your all done :woot:

i removed my rear wiper on my K4 but i cut me out a coin from some steel and welded it in so it looked as if i never had one cuz some K4's came without them i believe.
