Drove past mimms yesterday and saw all the Honda's and I realised I missed my ek9. I sold to Jesse on here a few months back think we should make him give it back to me :naughty:

I feel the same mate. I miss my 9 so much. Been looking in Japan for another one but there are just too many other cars out there that I want to try. Im sure it wont be long though until I buckle!
 
I have an r34 gtt coming in next month. To be honest it was a bit of a impulse bid and I never thought I would win it, but to my surprise I did. I don't know if I will keep it for too long, maybe a year. I'm really interested in getting an ae86 corolla or ps13 silvia but trying to find either one that hasn't been drifted to the ragged end is difficult.

Nice! Ive got an Evo at the moment. Ive had it a few months but not really driven it as iv been working on it a lot. Hoping to get it all running today and maybe if I drive it a little more It will take my mind off another Honda.
 
Sweet, what evo is it? I always think when I ever come to needing a car with more than 2/3 doors then I will get an evo. They look like such fun. Yeah i think once you start to drive it more you will have less of an urge to get back in a 9. I think its the same with me, once I actually get my r34 registered and on the road I will be able to enjoy it instead of thinking about my old 9.

Its an Evo 5 with an Evo 8 Engine and Evo 9 80series turbo plus loads of other bits & bobs.

Been treating her nicely though. Not all hardcore track thrashing like I thought I was going to do.
All new hardrace bushes
New engine mounts
Painted the whole underside in white hammerite aswell for some rust protection.
Says a lot about the civics if you still miss it after driving the Evo.

haha I know I been following he build thread. Yea it was an awesome little car I miss the noise and the way you can chuck it into corners. Don't get me wrong the evo is awesome on another level but parts and fuel are so ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ :angry:
 
Yeah similar with the s2000's. parts are crazy expensive compared to the civics. So when it comes time to sell it on you'll want it back? Lol

haha tbh mate I probs wouldn't have the money to buy it back. Got a big project on my hands with this evo at the moment im saving to get it all ready to handle 500bhp :naughty:

Yup in the same boat, considering delling the dc2 turbo to get another ek9 :rolleyes::nono:

i REALLY miss my s13 with a rb25det lump was rot free and had a r33 gtst rear subframe ect ect was 357.6 bhp at the wheels was a total animal love my civic but nothing beats a 6 cyl with a massive turbo and more horeses to shake a stick at .. ps13 are the one to go for though buddy find one thats rot free for japan no mods at all and drop a rb25det in it map it with jez @ h-dev then thank me :D btw in my s13 i over took a jag xkrf at 144 mph :nice:
