IACV Fault..... any more guidance?

I've just dropped a B18C6 into my EK9. Only problem is that the car simply wont idle. As soon as you fire it up it dies, warm or cold. Seems to run fine as long as the throttle is held.

The ECU throws up code 14 (IACV). Odd thing is we cleaned the new one before it went in. Now I'm going to try and replace with my old IACV off the B16B tomorrow, but am I correct in thinkng this only affects cold idle? And if so, any other ideas you guys can suggest?
 
I'm having the same problem with a b18c6 conversion. My idle control valve problem was due to having the wrong connector plugged in. Worth checking the wires over :)
 
Sure you haven't mixed up the power steering switch connector with IACV connector?

Solution:
Someone had mistakenly swapped the Knock. power steering and IACV sensors. Once corrected it fired straight up :D
