Anyone into racing on ice???
Since the climate in Russia is good and cold, we get the pleasure of ice racing for abou 4-5 months a year :)
Heres a preview (sorry for not being a Honda, don't yet own one)

Man ice racing looks scary, you must have enough space to recover a possible slip! :D

"The climate in Russia is good and cold"?? I don't think those words much! :nerv:
 
What's scary about it??? There is not enough space to recover a possible slip, if you slip, your up for close contact with the snow on the parapet of the track. Which is not as bad as you mgiht think it is. The snow is soft so usually literally no damage is caused. The bad thing - if you dig up into it too deep, you'll have to shovell your way out :) which is of course good excercise but still exhausting.

Concerning cold and good, I used to live in the UAE for sometimes, when the temeprature gets up to +57 celcius in the shade, you figure that cold is good!
Besides that, you cannot race on ice if it isn't cold!
 
we have ice racing here on old military airports in the swiss alps too (mostly slalom driving races) and they're a lot uf fun i think. also here in town he have ice slalom race on the local ice skating track, sounds crazy but it's a lot uf fun - many Hillclimbing race-legends show their skills here :D

From Russia and -50 Celsius to UAE and +50!! Perfect! I would need an oxygen mask! :wow:

Sounds like fun
We have slalom-sprints and rally-sprints mostly. On frozen lakes :). The tracks are cleaned up by tractors and off you go!
