info on turbo and supercharge???

alri lads want to knw if anyone has a turbo on ther ek9 and which wud u perfer turbo or supercharge and hw much wud it set u back on getin them fitted???????????:ek9:
 
Why don't you read my sticky in the forced induction section, i spend a lot of time writing it... And please post FI questions in the FI section, i moved it for you this time.
 
ya you should definately read blinx sticky on turbo vs superchargers. youll pick up alot of info from it. well help you make your decision on which youd prefere to do. you thinking on going turbo??
 
well i want a turbo in it but at the same time im thinkin wat bout getin it supercharged so im gona look up on it see hw it goes;)
 
well is say its more fun with a turbo but its that bit more expensive to put a turbo in. what kind of power do you want to get from it?? power and money plays a big factor.

very true, roots type blowers are among the cheapest and great for people looking for a very mild increase in power (25-30whp), centrifugal blowers are great but the cheapest kit starts at about $4500, might as well step up to a turbo for that price ;)
 
lol i guess it has been decided for you. TURBO, the only way to go. im in the process of puttin a turbo into my ek4, ya i know its not a ek9 but...... itll be my next project tho. but there are plenty of people on here that have turbo'd b16b and b18c engines. blinx, ek9turbo obviously. any advice you need is there. dont be shy thats what the websites for.
