Insurance for 17 year old 1.4 ek

I know it depends where you live ect but im turning 17 soon and I would like to get a ek 1.4 and I'm just wondering for a rough price?
 
im 17 also, running an ej9 as a daily, for illusions etc i was getting quoted around £2200, then when i went out and bought my facelift black sport the insurance rose by another £600.
 
Sorry thought you said ek4! Either way going to cost a bomb for anything but civic will be expensive.

My mate payed that for a 1.0 corsa b breeze! I got insurance through my dad on a polo when I was 17 for 600 then the next year on a civic coupe 1.7 vtec for 740, so just shop around!

You can get an ek4 for that sort of money. Why not just wait a few years, build some no claims and save some money, then get a clean ek4 or even an ek9.
