Jack's PY K20 EK9 now going K20/K24


I've got some 15x7 speedline corse 2118's if you fancy some motorsport style wheels
 
Sam my brakes are wilwood midilites and i pad £300 posted with ds2500 pads. Absolute bargain. Keep an eye out on the dc2 forums as they come up on there fron time to time. Also i want some 16's for the road and i'm keeping the standard wheels for track. Cheaper tyres lol

Mike the limiter is set at 7900rpm

Burkey yes i know tell me about its been 16 months since i bought it standard but i finally got there! I just need some track things now like cage, gauges, semi slicks, oil cooler etc
 
car's killing man!! also put the 16', you've got k24, are you anxious it wont pull them??
 
Is like to see it without the speedo jumping but you can see from 3rd ish and 4th it dosent jump and looks fast
 
Ilias- Yes i am but i'll be happy if i can put the power down in first

Burkey- i'll do another with the rev counter and some outside

Dc5con- they are FD2 cams. I'm really pleased with it!
 
Just built one myself buddy it made 286hp 213tq on dyno dynamics vtec6000 on here mapped it .Its a fully built engine with skunk2 stage 3 cams your tq is very good for standard cams . Do you find a difference between dc5r cams and fd2 cams though they were the same
 
Wow that's some power. Is that in your dc5? I'd like to see a video if you have one! Apparently the fd2 ones are slightly different. I only got these because they came up for sale at a very good price
 
No buddy its in a European ep3 civic will get video soon tq steer is bad need to do something about it
 
Ah o.k cool. Do you have an lsd or does that not help? The first time I took mine out it was pulling me across the road in 4th
 
I have a mfactory diff with ad08 tires and its 3 &4 gear is the worst for tq steer with me as well going to try tegwia tq damper and see will it help what did you do to sort it buddy
 
I haven't done anything yet. I have an mfactory diff to and t1-r tyres. I also have an fd2 5.06 final drive that i am considering swapping back to standard. I have a b series torwue damper in the garage somewhere that i think i'll fit. I'm also going to try 16x7 alloys with 215/45/16 AD08's. Maybe a traction bar to
 
Flip that thing is sharp! Still having trouble with the speedo jumping a bit? Congrats on this build lad, its a serious motor!
 
As above this is a mega build mate congrats!

Are you making it to japfest this year? Dying to have a look at this, been hoping to see it at a local event as your only an hour away and to my knowlage the only other 9 in cumbria besides my own but havent spotted you yet!

Yeah i'm gonna take the speedo converter off and leave it in kph as its doing my head in lol. And thanks :) its took me nearly 18 months to do. Its off the road again soon to get a synchro replaced under warranty.

I might be going i'm not sure yet as i start a new job next month so i don't know if i'll be off. Try and organise another nothern hondas meet in cumbria i'll come to that lol. And i'm going to rwyb at santa pod on the 20th april if anyone wants to come along

There was a meet in carlisle a few week ago now, just a private one but was some serious cars there, few lads off here from scotland came down, theres another in april il give you a shout next time mate, should definetly come!
 
Yeah let me know :). I'll only be a home on weekends in april though as i'm away training with work
