so as we've seen japfest2 was great! Safe to assume that the ek9.org guys are a solid bunch of decent guys(and girl)
Here's afew shots @nicole_ took of our pair in the pit garages after some tracktime



The self proclaimed "beauty and the beast"!





I'm very **** a decent pictures so I've stolen these from Nicole.

Tracktime was abit hit and miss tbh. Typical show tracktime really, ignorant or atleast very little experienced drivers out and no marshal work being done to help the issues out on track with traffic. Add to the fact that a drift demo had gone out the session before us so lots of rubber all over the racing line to trips us up (mainly @DBMatt ) lol
I had run a front and rear view camera for this session because a buddy had his go pro with him. So that's two videos
Never been round rockingham before so was learning all the way to the flag. Defo fancy a trackday there sometime in the future!

Nice shot of my ek9 next to @Tegiwa Imports FK2 after a good little chase out on track.
 
Awesome photos man. They look so good together in that garage.

Even as a spectator I noticed some of the track etiquette was shocking.
 
Yeah I thought they looked quite the pair in there aswell.
I almost got rear ended twice in that session, (red rx8 and silver ep3)plus I had to break afew rules to get round slow traffic but once in clean air it was epic fun!
 
I didnt manage a lap without catching someone. Only .org eks and the almera actually ley me pass without a fight.

Haha yes - to anyone who wasn't there I spun out on cold tyres whilst chasing @jesse888 :D

Here's my video to prove it. Skip to 6 mins to get past the warmup... Which was terribly slow, a lot of waiting round and partly to blame for having cold tyres... Once they got warm though it was great! First time out on semi slicks & loved it!

 
May have been what fell out of my pants after catching the rear at the chicane just before hand.
If everyone dumps there track videos in here we've got everyone's view in one thread. Decent enough idea.

I'm on it! They're loading slowly. I've got both sessions just cus you can hear the sheer amount of **** being flicked up by my car in the second one, even though I was only out for a few laps after losing it on the hairpin and calling it a day ha
I'm praying I have more grip on Sunday!
 
Didn't see any smoke out the back of mine in matts video, did anyone see any in person on that session?
Not bad considering it had only done 350miles before that! 1000mile run in my backside!

Was another white ek9 out with us? Sure I passed a white one that wasn't john or Matt.

I hope there's more grip Sunday as well. Can hear all the **** flicking in the arches on mine as well! Terrible.
 
Mine are done! Have to say my first session was a lot better, less shite on the track for sure!


and the 3:40 ek9 session that was appalling for me haha

You passed me mate! I arrived late, didn't get a chance to meet you guys properly. My car has no decals or front badge only a rear red badge, and sitting on white slips. You're car was epic!
 
That rx8 was a pure twat loads of cars not following track etiquette. Not letting cars pass and blocking of people so annoying
