I have been looking at picking up a manifold for over a week to put on my EJ9

However I have been looking at 2 in general and have seen mixed reviews on both so I thought I would ask on here and see what opinions I get on both

Japspeed 4-2-1

FP racing 4-2-1

:thanks:

Manifolds in that price range are never going to be great in quality.
its case of pick one and hope for best.

I'd spend your money elsewhere mate. Just throwing good money away on a d14. Just my opinion though.

Get on civiclife and look on the used or breakers section, You can usually pick these up used for £50 or so, The gaskets where it connects usually disintegrate from experience, Had one on my D14, done the job! I wouldn't waste your money buying a new one, yes there shiny, but that's about the height of it. But that's all my opinion! Oh and 1992-2000 Civic's with D-series engine's ie. 1.4-1.6 all fit the same to keep your options open!

But as said from the two mentioned, There both just gonna be pretty cheaply made mani's, I'd probably go with the cheapest of the two if it were me.

Its cheap that im after for the time being until I get into my own place and can put money away for a b18 conversion.. I just hate the look of the standard mani and want something thats going to breath easier

Both will be pants

Save your cash. Once you get your b18 you will wonder why you wasted money on this engine

Neither, there's no point spending a penny on D14. Save the money towards your B18, makes MUCH more sense.
