1996 EK4, start its life in red. I bought it in early 2001, it was completely stock. But over the year, it changed alot and it is now turned EK9 yellow (Y56) but still keeping the early version front bumper. I love this yellow colour and eventually turn it to all Spoon look! Enjoy my photos!

thats cool... i recognise the first pic is in Sai Kung.. Clear Water Bay....

... where did you get it resprayed?... where bouts you at mate?
 
i see there are some owners from hk...my parents are from hk but i was born in N. Ireland... HK house is in Pat Heung, Yuen Long N.T

You are correct the first pic was took in Clear Water Bay!! The paint job is not to my satisfaction and i will not go back there.......

im Chinese from UK... but i worked in HK for 3 years and just recently come back to UK...

... i use to get my car serviced at EVO in Yuen Long....think they are very honest and good people!... which i found hard to come by hehe

.... i got a quote from Subaru dealers for a full re-spray... they priced it at $10,000 ... think its quite cheap... what ya think?

I see!! I never heard of EVO, maybe because i only go to garage that i know........$10000HKD is about right for repaint (without change colour). I paid more than that for changing the colour.....

I think you shall be able to bring it back but you have to pay tax.........also you shall have prove that you live there for more a year. You shall consult with HK transportation department for details.

Glad to see an EK hatch owner from HK, dun see much really in HK, most of them are the saloon version.....nice car:)
 
Hello there! I am chinese as well! I lived in HK for 8 years but now I have to come to UK for education! nice looking car! :nice:
