Yours caused by weld spatter? Mine is Defo a different issue, perhaps same outcome but mine hadn't had any welding or anything, means something else has introduced the metal in.
The oil isn't that shiney. Not a noticable amount more than a normal change.
Going to get another gauge on it just incase, my gauge showed over 140psi oil pressure on start up today. I mean is that even possible?
Check the vtec solonoid for swarf. Bad bearings usually get a non magnetic flake, gold in my case.
Pump will wear out fast and pressure will drop before you spin a bearing, but the bearings will chew up fast and can score the crank pretty easily.
Id get the pump of if you can and open it up.
