Well lads..New to the site :) Hello to all ye Honda heads :))
I wouldn't be the most knowledgeable when it comes to specifics for modifying internals for more gains
so any insight to this project would be both welcome from speculation or even previous experience..
So I've owned this supercharged b16a2 for a long time now and thought it was high time I got the most out of it.
It was installed by SW motorsport in England in 01 and has run like a dream ever since I've owned it pushing
198bhp maybe a bit over as Ive made a few adjustments.
So looking for info on what internal work could be done on this engine to gain more power and what to expect
from it result wise? What ecu to use/ injectors/cams and cam gears etc, and what sort of work could be carried out on the bottom end also.
Also if anyone has opinions on supercharging b16a, b16b, b18c and b18c type r engines feel free to comment. Any additional info on the best route to go with my original engine or any b series is welcome..
Cheers Guys :))

I have a Mate who had a JRSC b18c4/b16b eg with the lht charge cooler! he said that he found it difficult to get power out and said they don't respond well to the JRSC without major work it's not a very popular mod for B series here in the UK there are very few kits about but in saying that it's something I've always wanted to do I just think it's cool compared to turbo!

You can go for forged bottom end low comp ect the list is endless and a good ported head to see more power you'd also need a different crank/charger pulley set up to see more boost but not many about and parts are getting hard to come by for these as Jackson racing discintinued it a while back I believe

Ya i heard there was a big loss of power for supercharged type r engines and that b18 sir would be the way to go but wasn't sure about the theory behind it.
Used kits do be popping up on ebay every now and then but you'd probably be paying over 2 grand for one anyway. There are still a few company's selling packaged parts
for them aswell including the bearings/seals and oil. I bought a kit from an American seller on ebay last year as the needle bearings were worn and its running perfect now again after the rebuild. But ya I know theres alot more to gain from a turbo route but because of its rarity, and the buzz you get from driving it ill definitely be holding
onto it. Love the whine out of her aswell:)) Would it be worth wile doing it with a b18c bottom end or could the same result be achieved with b16a2 I wonder?
Any opinions on which sort of crank?
