Kasperwhoo begins

Thanks for the info rich I got the same pointers from my machinist who is doing all of the work I can't do. Only thing is the 320 grit on the intake ports is right, but the exhaust has to have a near mirror finish with abrasive buffs. I found out that polish is meant in grit of sanding not actual polishing tecniques! All will be done shortly before resurfacing.

Yeh thats right, 320 grit on the intake and mirror finish on the exhaust :nice:

I got a winter beater so that the project doesn't get in the way of my commute! Although it's in some bad conditons, maybe it's another build for the future!

Also I traded my wheels cause I got tired of looking at the ugly and cheap wheel design from when I bought the car! I would rather have the flat black ghetto JDM look for now (I know I know :blabla:)!

The garbage bag of pure dirt is what was left for me by the last owner. I didn't feel like becoming a human vaccum while I attack the build!

Also I got tired of the 17" wheels I got when I bought the car so I traded them for some 16" euro made for audi or bmw something like that the guy told me it was name Borbet they looked nice at the time (cause of the tire size 225/40r16) till we got them off his car and notice that the threads were all gone on all 4 (lots of burnouts on lowing springs without any camber kit told to me afterwards) but didn't really care cause I really didn't like what I had on at the time car look too ricer! After a couple of months decided to take them off and swap for steallies on the other civic I had for a beater and put 7 spoke honda hub caps on (junk yard special) and for now they will stay till and get the engine ready!

When you fitted the siR cluster was it a straight connection from the older one? Anything else needed to be tweaked for it to work properly?

Thanks,
Dev.
