Hey guys. So after a lot of looking and umming and ahhing I decided to get another ek9. I went from my previous one to an s2000 which I then couldn't afford to run. Good move :nice: Then I went back to a couple of normal cars but missed the 9 so round we go again.

Anyways here it is, it's in really good condition and I'm really happy with it.

My plans are to do some service bits to it and keep it clean. Also want to arrange a bit of a shoot with some friends to get some nice pics. It's standard at the moment and I am most like to leave it that way maybe just some minor adjustments. Hope you like it
Thanks

Looks tidy. Think we know this car on the forum?

Nice looking clean example. Engine bay looks mint. Need to get mine that clean haha

Wow that looks good! Who's on here owned it before?

Funny how a lot of people sell up and come back. I'm on my second ek9 now after having a dc5 and a ek4 and various other things in between

Thanks guys, quite a few of us seem to go round in circles. @b16 mini how was the dc5?
This one is a new import as I couldn't find exactly what I was after and thought if I commit to the import then I have to buy it and stop being a tit. I am really happy I took the risk as it is really nice. Will have to get out to meets and shows although wrong time of year now lol

The dc5 was good, and handled really well(ohlins coilovers and toyo r1r's helped)
It was loads faster than both of my ek9's,really comfortable, good on fuel etc etc
It was a great car but I just didn't have that love for it.
There's just something about the ek9's that makes them feel right to me

Looks fantastic! Importing is a great way to get a really clean car, there can be risks, but that adds to the excitement I think! What grade was this? Looks like a grade 4.

Thanks :)

Yeah I think it's just preference really and it's still a practical car :)

It wasn't actually an auction car it was just found on the off chance but they said it was equivilant grade 4 with history and booklets etc and I was definitely impressed when I saw it in the flesh. Only a few months worrying if I had made the right decision :/
It has this little electronic toll card reader so all set for road trips in japan lol

Very tidy! Can't go wrong with the clean OEM look.

I have one of these too. Some Japanese lady speaks to me every time I start the car.

Nice :nice: Dont think ive seen another X reg besides my own. must have been fairly expensive a late year grade 4 like that?

I miss when mine was fresh and OEM like that... looks awsome
