Looking for a B18 standard stroke knife edged crank but cant find any. Eagle has dis-contiued making them anyone got any ideas?

Cheers

My crank is goosed so need a new one. To buy it then send it of to get lightened would cost a fortune. Im looking to buy one already done but cant find a company that makes them anymore

there are a few golden eagle cranks on ebay standard and stroke also

No after market supplier can remotely offer what honda has equipped it`s cars with from the factory, especially eagle. toda? maybe... be patient to get one already shaved or get one done yourself. Though i don`t see the point if your`s is a daily drive.

Eagle cranks are a pile of ****. It will cost you what you payed to get it usable. I havent ever seen a Toda crank but there most likely OEM quality if not better. Like said just wait for a decent OEM crank to come up and get it knife edged.

Even Toda knows how good Honda parts are, thats why they use an OEM B18C Type-R crank on the Stroker Kits for B16A

I never knew that thanks. Do Toda use OEM cranks for all there honda stuff ?

No, they develop their own cranks when they need custom strokes, like in the stroker kit for NSX engines. But I wouldn't be suprised if they were produced by Honda.

Nor would i specially with Toda. What about the JUN stroker crank ? Do you know anything about it ?

The whole purpose of knife edeging a crank is not to lose weight it to help the crank cut through the oil. I dont see why you would need to do this with the oem steel crank

Yes less drag in the oil plus lighter so spins up faster same as a lightened flywheel

...have a shop, a very good shop, knife edge a crank for you. I have not heard of one being sold new done already, somewhat of a personal preference as to how much weight/material to take off. This should also be the last thing you lighten up...not the first.

jun uses cosworth parts too...

also it's something very difficult to do so choose well known specialists for that job !
