leaking Rack!

Hey all just a quick one!

Have a very slow leak coming from my power steering rack through the rubber boot on the rhs tie rod, presuming its a seal gone in the rack. Its very slow only losing maybe 1mm or 2mm at most of power steering fluid from the reservoir a month or so but the boot always looks wet.

Was just wondering is ther any sealants that can be added to the power steering fluid or is it just a case of replace or refurb the rack when it gives in??

I do not know of any sealants to fix your issue. I would fix the issue and not seal it up with sealants.

bump! any other opinions? or what price should a second hand rack go for????
