Straightliners are at Elvington near York this sunday the 17th with a full Drag strip / Top speed runs over the 1/2 mile and a handling course enter on the day just bring your driving licence and a helmet or just come and watch starts at 10.30,,,, lollie:win:
 
Theres the 'post office meet' where they also do the drifting in a cordened off bit of car park :D, theres sherburn-in-elmet first tuesdayy of every month too.

this sounds good mate , mite check it out not got no plans for sunday am only 45 mins from york , if i head to elvington will i find it easy enough?
 
I might have to check these out also as my gf grandma lives at kirk merrigton inbetween hull n york

Hi Just follow the signs for the Yorkshire air museum and the airfield entrance is just past theirs,,,Lollie
 
thanks for that ,been speaking to a few lads at work today and they say its a well worth trip , see some good cars theres

i was told and the 'post office meet' by a friend, Ill findout more though as Id like to go. :thumbup:
