Posting this up again...
I ordered a B18C6 from an EK9 member a few months ago.. after it got fitted to my EK9, the engine had no compression in cylinders 1 and 4, and very little in cylinders 2 and 3. I used numerous compression testers, and yes i got a couple of mechanics to check the conversion over also.
Turns out i bought a F****d engine for full price, even though it was "Definitely running" before i bought it.
I sent the engine back to him today (although he never wanted it back) and im waiting for paypal to refund me the money.
I also lost a lot of money on wasted labor (yes thats right, get you small violins out)
Basically, after all this, im on the hunt again for an engine. Does anyone know of any good ones for sale!? B18C6 or B16B. Im very close to giving up on the car, so this is my last hope.
