looking to restore an ej9 looking or some help on costs?

Hi there I'm new to this forum
Sorry if I'm doing things wrong aha

I'm looking to be buying an ej9 1997-2000
Was wondering how much it would caust to restore it
Just needing a rough estimate

Want to rebuild it and get it in mint condish before I insure it
Because all the ones iv seen have all had nere 100k miles, so ill need to clean the old girl back up
Going to rebuild engine, replace pistons etc...

If anyone could help I would be rather greatfull
 
how longs a bit of string?

depends what level of restoration you want to do,what the condition of it is to start with etc etc..theres so many variants it would be almost impossible to guess a price mate

I guess ill have to work it out as I go along
Its going to be my first car, so I'm wanting to make sure nothing will go wrong with it
But its a honda so I'm not to worried

Going to keep the 1.4l in it till I get a few years ncb
Then ill be dropping the b-series spoon engine into it

Is it hard to get parts for the hatchback in the uk? As I'm from scotland

let people see how well she has turned out

She will be a type r/spoon replica with a hellaflush look once I'm done
