m factory 1.384 cross gear kit

arrived this morning.have any one of you guys got these in your gearboxes, if so are they good. cant wait to get it fitted.:D :bow::D

red is standard, green is with a teg 4.785 final drive and with the 1.384 cross gear kit, gonna be like a n1 racer.

hi mate.the red lines show a standard ek9 gear ratios in 1,2,3,4,5 gears and on the left of the chart shows you how fast you go in each gear,the green lines show my gear ratios with 4.785 final drive and my cross gear kit.as you can see the gear in 3,4,5 are much much shorter so quicker acceleration ,better engine response,more torgue but lose top end speed.i will post another chart comparing again standard ek9 ratios and ek9 with just 4.785 final drive added:D
 
awesome mod, if i knew what i know now many years ago rebuilding my box would have been 1 of the 1st mods i did

youll have to give us full review (top speed in each gear, revs at x speed compared to before, fuel consumption, how much revs drop when changing at set point before and after mod and of course actual real world acceleration improvement preferaby against a car)
 
i get the box back 2moro so il be updating it.il also do a better in car video of my car 2:nice:
 
:shocked: :shocked: oh my god.just took my car for a spin and its f#####g crazy.it is a absolute animal.0-100 is a good 2-3 seconds quicker than before.it only tops out at 125mph at 9100 .but i dont care.going to post a video on my bruvs digi cam tommorow of inside the car.:nice: :bow: mfactory close gears
