yesterday while driving home from work i notice my water temp slowly creaping up.stoped the car and notice a hissing sound. I feared the worst.
Opened the hood and found rust water sprayed all over my intake manifold.
Found a small hole at the rigid pipe for head cooling. Great how am i suppose to get home now.
thought of blanking off the hose but i have nothing that will do that.
then i remembered a macgyver episode way back in the 80's where he took a pen and repaced a damaged rediator hose. so that was what i did.
chk it out.

the pen bend slightly after half and hours drive.
i was actually worried if the pen will hold up.
btw besides the small pipe that is steel what else would couse rust in the radiator water?
