I've been quite quiet on here this past while after breaking my kswap EK9 project due to finding rot in unexpected places and buying and selling my Y-56 EK4.
Earlier on this year I bought this Milano Red DC5 when it popped up for sale. Aside from needing a set of brake discs and pads it was perfect for what I needed and wanted it for. It came with the 'C' pack which consisted of OEM tinted Windows, Start button, rare parcel shelf. Unfortunately it doesn't have the wind deflectors which would finish it off in my opinion. The car is incredibly tight to drive and handles superbly! It is a different kind of drive to the B18c EK9 mind you.
The engine is standard and runs sweet as a nut, beautiful power delivery and driveability with the standard K20. The only addition is an AEM V2 induction kit coupled with standard exhaust system and manifold with the Cat in place.
Exterior has a HC Carbon Fibre Spoiler and an IceTronix Carbon Fibre bonnet along with a set of STR Pro N1 17" alloys in white. Tein Coilovers in the rear along with Tein springs and OEM dampers up front makes for a great, responsive ride. Interior is again standard aside from a double din CD/DVD player. Black Recaros and black carpet and mats are a great compliment to the deep red paintwork.
